I build things to solve problems. Design is how I think. Engineering and coding are how I make it real. I'm a 14-year-old student at LACES exploring the intersection of science, design, and creativity.
I've always been the kind of person who takes things apart to understand how they work, and then puts them back together in a new way. Whether it's designing a robot, writing a speech, debugging code, or choreographing steps in ballet, I'm drawn to the process of figuring things out and making something meaningful from it.
I'm a freshman at LACES High School in Los Angeles, and I've been building a life shaped by curiosity. Since kindergarten, I've been studying advanced math at RSM and earning badges in Girl Scouts. Today, those foundations show up in everything I do, from competitive tennis to the robotics team to mentorship programs in architecture.
I was selected for the Design Like a Girl mentorship program at Architecture for Communities Los Angeles, a competitive initiative where middle school girls are mentored by practicing architects and designers. Through studio experiences, site visits, and real-world design processes, I've come to see design not just as aesthetics but as a way to shape how people experience the world.
I don't want to be defined by one thing. I'm a programmer, yes, but also an artist, a debater, an athlete, a volunteer, and someone who believes the best solutions come from looking at problems from every angle.
I approach every problem with a design mindset, asking who is this for and how can it be better.
Multiple years of coding through CodeWizards, plus hands-on robotics at LACES.
From ballet to visual art, creativity is the thread that runs through everything I do.
Girl Scouts since kindergarten, NJHS member, and active volunteer on Homeless Day.
A snapshot of my experiences, activities, and the things I'm building toward.
Selected for a competitive mentorship introducing middle school girls to architecture. Includes mentorship from practicing architects, hands-on studio experiences, and real-world site visits across LA.
Design ArchitectureBuilding, programming, and competing with the LACES robotics team. Hands-on engineering and collaborative problem-solving.
Robotics EngineeringMulti-year coding curriculum spanning Python, web development, and computational thinking. Building real projects and problem-solving skills.
ProgrammingRigorous math training since kindergarten, developing analytical thinking, proofs, and advanced problem-solving.
MathCompeting in USTA sanctioned tournaments. Discipline, strategy, and mental toughness on and off the court.
AthleticsClassical ballet training blending discipline, artistry, and physical expression. Grace meets rigor.
DanceBuilding skills in public speaking, argumentation, and critical thinking through competitive debate events.
CommunicationRecognized for scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
Academics ServiceOver nine years of scouting, developing leadership, community service, and outdoor skills. Working toward advanced recognitions.
Leadership ServiceHands-on volunteering to support community members experiencing homelessness. Service driven by empathy.
VolunteeringA growing collection of projects across coding, design, robotics, and creative work.
A collection of coding projects built over multiple years of CodeWizards curriculum, from web pages to Python programs and interactive applications.
Collaborative robotics builds with the LACES team. Designing, building, and programming robots for competition challenges.
Hands-on design studio work through the Design Like a Girl mentorship, exploring architecture, spatial thinking, and community-centered design.
New projects will be added as I keep building, creating, and learning.
Ideas, reflections, and things I'm learning along the way.
Reflections on what I've learned about human-centered design through architecture mentorship and how it changes the way I see problems everywhere.

Competing in USTA Under-14 tournaments has taught me that the most important battles happen between your ears. I love the strategy, the discipline, and the feeling of a perfectly placed backhand down the line.
Ballet is where I find focus and grace. It's the most physically demanding art form I know, and I love the challenge of making something incredibly hard look effortless.
Drawing, painting, and creative projects are my way of thinking visually. My sketchbook is always nearby.
Since kindergarten, Girl Scouts has been about building confidence, learning outdoors skills, and showing up for my community.
Through the Design Like a Girl mentorship, I've visited real architecture studios, worked on design challenges, and discovered that architecture is really about understanding people. I think about spaces differently now: who's using them, how they feel, and what story they tell.
Learning to build arguments, think on my feet, and communicate ideas clearly, especially under pressure.
RSM since kindergarten. I genuinely enjoy working through hard problems and the click of understanding.
